Galatians 4:6 AMP “And because you [really] are [His] sons, God has sent the [Holy] Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, Abba (Father)! Father!”
One of the first things God does to His new children is to impart them with Himself. That impartation is what makes us recognize Him as Father; that impartation is what makes us feel deeply connected to Him.
But what do we have: parents who are imparting little or nothing into their children, but demand and expect that their children regard them. We have very busy parents who have little or no time for the children they gave birth to but expect their children to be like them.
Parents, it is your responsibility to impart your children with Godly wisdom, knowledge, and the fear of God. It is your job to teach your children to love, to do what is right and acceptable, and to refrain from doing what is wrong. You won’t need to demand affection and loyalty from a child to whom you have imparted something valuable. Bond with your children through impartation.
