Ezekiel 8:17 ERV “Then God said, “Son of man, do you see this? The people of Judah think my Temple is so unimportant that they will do these terrible things here in my Temple! This country is filled with violence, and they constantly do things to make me angry. Look, they are wearing rings in their noses to honor the moon as a false god!”
A temple is a place dedicated to the service or worship of God. Wherever believers choose to worship God becomes His temple; and as He said, He is always present in their midst.
There’s a way to behave in the presence of the Lord. You don’t behave however you desire in the Governor’s office or in your MD’s office; you either comport yourself well or you’ll be asked to leave! Paul wrote to Timothy, “If I am detained, you may know how people ought to conduct themselves in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and stay (the prop and support) of the Truth.” 1 Timothy 3:15
The presence of the Lord in any place demands honour. Teach your children to honour the Lord. God honours those who honour Him.
