Do you know about the Lord’s hand? Early believers and apostles knew about it and depended on it: it was the secret of their success.
When they were threatened, they prayed, “Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.” Acts 4:29-30. Acts 11:21 says, “And the hand of the Lord was with them, and a great number believed and turned to the Lord.”
The hand of the Lord that heals and enables people succeed, also destroys. When the hand of the Lord is with you, that’s big trouble for your adversaries! Paul said to Elymas the Sorcerer, “And now, indeed, the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you shall be blind, not seeing the sun for a time.” And immediately a dark mist fell on him, and he went around seeking someone to lead him by the hand. Acts 13:11
My prayer for you today, is that the hand of the Lord will always be with you. Amen.
