This isn’t about having a testimony of what God has done for you, it’s about what people who know you and come in contact with you have to say about you: your reputation, character and image in the eyes of others.
I’m not talking about who or what you pretend to be, I’m talking about the real you, because at the end of the day we will be judged by God’s testimony of us not man’s testimony. We can fool our family members, we can fool the church, we can even fool the world, but God can never be fooled.
Brothers and sisters, it’s time for us to be real and to practice true Christianity. We behave like the world, we talk like them and do what they do; no difference between us and them; it shouldn’t be. Hebrews 11:5 says that before Enoch was taken, he had a testimony that he pleased God. If that’s not our testimony, we really have no testimony. Let’s start afresh; let’s strive for a good testimony; let’s please the Lord. Amen.
