The salvation of every member of the house is very important, no one should be allowed to perish: “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” Acts 16:31
Your work as a parent is to raise children who love and serve God faithfully and passionately. It’s one that requires your time and attention. Most importantly, you must live an exemplary life: you cannot raise faithful children if you are unfaithful: it takes a blameless man and woman to raise faithful children.
Everyone of us must be involved in raising children who have a real relationship with God. “And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.” Ephesians 6:4. Avoid whatever will discourage them from serving the Lord: teach them the scriptures: start sowing the seeds of faith, love, holiness, and righteousness early enough; pray for them always, and monitor their growth. We mustn’t fail God. Amen.
