Judges 15:15-16 NKJV “He found a fresh jawbone of a donkey, reached out his hand and took it, and killed a thousand men with it. Then Samson said: “With the jawbone of a donkey, Heaps upon heaps, With the jawbone of a donkey I have slain a thousand men!”
For me, 2015 is the year of achievements! Hallelujah! I’m so excited about it. I see myself achieving great and amazing things to the glory of God!
Samson killed a thousand men at once! In today’s world, you would probably need a weapon of mass destruction to achieve that; many celebrated war heroes never defeated as many people singlehandedly, but Samson did, with the jawbone of a donkey! Wow; not by might, not by power, but by the Spirit of God!
In 2015, I encourage you to rely on the power and the abilities of the Holy Spirit. Your resources might be meagre, the forces against you might seem too great, your own physical abilities might be grossly inadequate, ineffective and inefficient; nothing to be worried about! Simply plug yourself to the eternal power of the Spirit. Maintain an intimate relationship with the Lord this year, discipline yourself to hear His voice, and follow His directions and you will make extraordinary achievements. Amen.
