Jesus said, “And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.” (John 12:32). You know, we sing that song about lifting Jesus higher: truth is that we can’t lift Him up the second time; when He said this, He was talking about His death on the cross.
God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son to die! And the very moment He died, salvation and eternal life became available for all men. Hallelujah!
Once a person believes in Jesus that person will not perish. Eternal life is God’s gift to us through the death of His Son, Jesus Christ. As a believer, have no fear of death! Through death, Jesus destroyed Satan who had the power of death, and released us who through fear of death were all our lifetime subject to bondage. (Hebrews 2:14-15)
Dearly beloved, have no fear of death; Jesus made eternal life available for us, we will not perish!
