Isaiah 33:24 NKJV “And the inhabitant will not say, “I am sick”; The people who dwell in it will be forgiven their iniquity.”
Zion is the city of the Living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, wherein resides an innumerable company of angels and the church of Jesus Christ, the Mediator of the new covenant, Whose blood was sprinkled and speaks better things than the blood of Abel! Hallelujah!
You can’t be an inhabitant of Zion and be suffering as a stranger; you can’t be a citizen of Zion and be under the same unpleasant conditions as the inhabitants of the world. In Goshen, the Israelites prospered and flourished while their neighbours suffered. Think about that.
You are in Christ Jesus and your sins have been forgiven! Hallelujah! I wonder if you really understand what it means to be in Christ and for your sins to be forgiven. It means that you are free from the effects of sin and the dominion of darkness! Jesus said to that paralysed man, “Son your sins are forgiven, rise up and walk.” (Matthew 9:1-6) Meaning that forgiveness of sins removes the barriers and breaks the chains. Therefore I say to you, O inhabitant of Zion, your sins have been forgiven, rise up and walk in the name of Jesus!
