John 1:17 ERV “That is, the law was given to us through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.”
Jesus came with something unique; grace! The moment He died, the new testament was immediately enforced; the world did not immediately realize what had happened, but life had changed completely! Hallelujah!
A lot of people misunderstand grace; so they abuse it and even preach against it. Paul shed light on what grace is really about: he said, “It teaches us not to live against God and not to do the bad things the world wants to do. It teaches us to live on earth now in a wise and right way—a way that shows true devotion to God.” Titus 2:12
The law tried from without to make men please God and to do what was right, but grace works from within us, enabling us to please God and to do what is right. What we need is more and more grace! Thankfully it is written, “With Jesus as our high priest, we can feel free to come before God’s throne where there is grace. There we receive mercy and kindness to help us when we need it.” Hebrews 4:16. We who have received an abundance of grace are reigning in life! Glory to God!
Happy Easter!
