Jesus stated clearly that there’s bread for children of the kingdom: if you are a child of God, rejoice, because there’s something for you.
You have a portion in Christ; you have an inheritance; and it’s for your satisfaction and enjoyment. Children don’t have to beg their parents for food: our earthly parents cannot be better than God: you see, God is not just interested in giving us bread; Psalm 23:5 says that He prepares a table, or a feast, for us in the presence of our enemies!
There’s nothing you need that God is not willing to give to you: “Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.” If we seek first the kingdom of God; put the things of God first; make it the most important thing in our lives; we will enjoy everything that God has in store for us. Amen.
