Psalms 115:14-15 ERV “May the Lord give more and more to you and to your children. May you receive blessings from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.”
Amen! Some are rich today and then become poor tomorrow because their possessions continue to diminish. But that’s not our portion; God seeks to give us more and more! When our graphs are plotted, the lines should go upward and forward only! Hallelujah!
Are you better off today than you were yesterday? Or haven’t you been measuring your progress? You’ve got to. As a Christian, there should be neither stagnation nor retrogression in any area of our lives. As long as we stay connected to God, doing only what pleases Him, He will continue to bless us; and His blessings make rich and cause progress.
Don’t settle for less! We are talking about the One who made the heavens and the earth! If He created everything we see, then we can expect Him to make our lives so beautiful and to give us all that we will ever require. I’m talking about blessings that will endure for generations, if Jesus tarries! Yes. And don’t hinder yourself from receiving from God; do only what pleases Him and be faithful. Proverbs 28:20 says, “A faithful person will have an abundance of blessings.”
