Jesus asked men to follow Him, and they left everything and followed Him. Abraham was asked for his only son, and without hesitation, he took his son to the mountain and would have offered him as a sacrifice to God, if he wasn’t stopped. And members of the Early Church sold their properties and gave all the proceeds to the Church! Wow!
Listen guys; you are a slave to whatever you cannot walk away from. Let me say it differently: Whatever is too great for you to give up for God and the service of God is your god.
Don’t be possessed by anything in this world: don’t be emotionally attached to anything at all – a place, a business, a job, houses, cars, money, etc. Including people!
Some people actually need deliverance; not from demons, but from things of the world. They are possessed by them. This world is not our home; we’re just passing through. We are strangers and pilgrims here. Let’s always be conscious of that.
