The Lord’s Prayer: “Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.”
Jesus taught us to pray for deliverance from evil. Brothers and sisters, evil is real. To live as if there’s no evil is to live carelessly and could be an indication of ignorance. You cannot believe in good without believing in evil: the two are very real.
Don’t think that you can never be a target of evil just because you probably try not to offend anyone. My dear, evil people, and their father the devil, with their uncles and aunties the demons, need no reason to want to destroy you and your loved ones!
You must always be both on the attack and on the defence in prayer. It’s a battle field! We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers! We are constantly at war!
But we are more than conquerors! Hallelujah!
