I told a very dear friend of mine the other day that I feel lazy. I look at the way Jesus and Paul worked; they worked really hard; and I think I’m just enjoying myself. Brothers and sisters, we cannot but work hard in order to achieve outstanding success.
But they didn’t only work; they were severely persecuted; especially Apostle Paul; but the amazing thing is that despite everything he went through he didn’t give up; he didn’t resign; neither did he get an early retirement. I doubt if we were made of the same material: he was so strong and tough within – mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
Truly, tough times never last; tough people do. But you’ve got to have convictions because they are what sustain and renew your energy from within. God’s grace is sufficient for you. Always ask for more grace, because it’s strength in times of weakness. When the weight seems so much for you to bear, shout for grace!
I know without a doubt that you will excel in life. Yes, you will, if you keep going and don’t stop.
