“And he blessed him and said: ‘Blessed be Abram of God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth.'” Genesis 14:19 NKJV
God is called the possessor of heaven and earth. In other words, He is the Creator or Maker of heaven and earth. Psalm 115:15 says the same thing, “May you be blessed by the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.”
Now, the one who made the heaven and earth is the one who can give it to anyone He chooses. Yes, that’s a fact. That truth is established in Psalm 115:16; “The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s; but the earth He has given to the children of men.”
No single individual can own the whole earth; it belongs to everyone of us. However, it doesn’t belong to us equally. That’s why some have greater shares than others; that’s why some are rich and others are poor. But, when God blesses a man, here’s what He does; He increases the man’s share of the earth. That’s what Psalm 115:14 says, “May the Lord give you increase more and more, you and your children.”
Every time God blesses a person, He increases him or her. As a child of God increase is your portion. I prophesy to you, that from today, you will never be diminished; from where you are now, you will increase continually, more and more, in Jesus name! Amen.
