Under military regimes people were afraid to speak against the government of the day even in their bedrooms! Why? Because they feared that there were spies around who would report them to the authorities, and the punishments were grave. Only very courageous people dared to speak against the government, and they suffered the consequences.
Listen to me people, the Church of Jesus was not meant to be a timid and fearful set of people; no! But that’s what we have today, that’s why people are praying everyday about deliverance from things that are not even pursuing them. The Bible says that no one dared to utter a word against the children of Israel because there was great glory upon them. Acts 5:13 says that the people esteemed the church highly because of God’s grace upon them.
What you need is to be a carrier of the grace and glory of God. Even Satan will be afraid of you! Isaiah 54:17 says, “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,’ says the Lord.” Glory to God!
