Healing starts with knowledge. The Bible says that faith comes by hearing the word of God. What you hear becomes what you know; and with what you know, you can receive whatever you want from God. When the people recognized Jesus – they had heard about Him, maybe they had also seen Him before; they knew Him – they sent out into all that surrounding region, brought to Him all who were sick, and begged Him that they might only touch the hem of His garment. And as many as touched it were made perfectly well. Hallelujah!
They asked to touch the hem of His garment. Maybe they had heard about the woman with the issue of blood; that became a standard for them. You know, our faith cannot be exercised beyond our knowledge. They didn’t have to touch Him before they received their healings, they could have asked Him to speak to them, and they would have still been healed!
You can touch Him by faith today. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever! If they touched Him, and were all made perfectly well, then you too can be made perfectly well. There’s no sickness that Jesus cannot heal if you believe in Him. Receive your healing now, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
