Before you make that move, it pays to hear from God first; before you sign that agreement or get yourself involved, consult God first.
Joshua and the elders of Israel were deceived by the Gibeonites because they did not make enquiries from God (Joshua 9). When we don’t hear from God before making our decisions, we become responsible for the consequences of our own decisions.
God is a speaking being, and He always speaks. It’s impossible to have the Holy Spirit within you and be unable to hear Him. No one communicates better than the One who created the mouth for speaking. We must have a habit of seeking the will of God in all that we do. When we receive guidance from God we wouldn’t make avoidable mistakes, and hearing from God will help us succeed in all we do. Remember, before you take that step, hear from God first. You will not fail, in Jesus name. Amen.
