Just because you were born to do something, or called, or sent by God doesn’t mean that it’s going to be easy and pleasant; neither does it mean that you’ll be accepted.
Your allegiance should be to the One Who sent you not to those you were sent to; be motivated by your purpose and not by your experiences. The outcome may not be as expected; there may be no rewards or appreciation; keep doing what you know you’re supposed to be doing and don’t quit.
God knows exactly how to reward you for whatever He sends you to do: He doesn’t use people and abandon them; and when He sends He goes along with us. Stay focused on the assignment. Your definition of success may not be God’s definition of success. When you do God’s will that’s success. Amen.
