[dropcap]C[/dropcap]NN won’t let me rest – all I have seen today is this matter – well, I have written tons of times in the past that “The World is not yet Ready to fight Terrorism”, because most of the top leaders remain self-absorbed idiots who would rather place their personal egos over the peace and joy of the people they lead!
I keep seeing “disagreements on how to fight Islamic Terrorism while the Jihadists are in agreement on how to wreck havoc on the world” – the terrorists never kill one another – they never disagree – they never debate whether to launch attacks or not – they even claim attacks that they didn’t commit on behalf of their partners that might not have not have done or have been martyred [died] in the process.
Fast-forward to the UN, G8, NATO, US, Russia, France, etc, their leaders will begin to argue “why and when they should attack ISIS or if they should support Nigeria’s fight versus Boko Haram” – while they do these, the terrorists continue to kill people from this world and even begin to kill their own citizens as well.
They are not alone, the “Big Boys of the Middle East” like Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE [yes, Dubai] who always feel they can’t be attacked would keep quiet when these discussions are ongoing – they are even said “to bribe the Terrorists to keep away from their own lands” [you must have wondered why they hardly ever attack them] – and all of the leaders from these nations would join the debates on CNN, Al-Jazeera, etc – all making commentaries on these issues – filled with empty rhetorics and nothing but crap!
Of course, I have spoken too many times about this same trend became the reason Boko Haram became such a force versus Nigeria – the trend of “Do all the talking about these Terrorists but do so little to kill them” while International Crime Court [ICC] and Amnesty International [AI] would rather focus on the attack by the Military than those of these terrorists; and when they do so, the intellectuals and elites among us would begin to applaud such reports simply because they can use such reports to maim the incumbent government.
So you see – The world is not yet ready to exterminate the terrorists – when they are “US, NATO, France, Russia will all be bombing ISIS at the same time” – and Putin and Obama would have a war-room that both of them meet in on a weekly basis to finish these killers – yet these Paris matter presents the world with another opportunity to do what is right here lest the current noise subsides and the world goes back to normal leading to the next attack – again! When the leaders of these supposedly big nations are ready to fight terrorism “Russia will not be arguing with US that the plane crash wasn’t brought down by bombs even after ISIS had claimed responsibility for the bombings” only for Russia to admit today, that was true!
In essence, these world leaders are more concerned with their personalized reputation rather than the well-being of their people – sad!
I listened to PM Cameron a few minutes ago as he addressed the House of Commons on the subject, I could see he is finally mustering the confidence to mention “Muslims, Islam in the same sentence as Terrorism” and how “the leaders of the faith must be reached out to so they can teach those from the faith the right lessons – we might just be getting to the end of this thing but then what do I know? I hear Islamic Clerics are still in some Northern Parts of Nigeria preaching ‘religious extremism’ and I hear some of them still come out periodically on march past chanting their beliefs.
