Look at this picture (warning: the picture is VERY GRAPHIC. Click HERE only if you have the heart) of a baby girl. She looks almost as if she is sleeping. She is kneeling with her soft sweet bottom pointing to God. Almost as if she is praying. It is almost a picture of perfect, sweet innocence.
Then, I looked again at the head and I saw three buttons. At first I thought they were buttons on her clothes except it was brown and the clothes seemed red.
Then I realised: the little girl was dead. The red was her blood. I was so sad. She died during the Fulani Herdsmen attack at Uzo Awani, Enugu. I thought perhaps she was running and keeled over and died. I was sad and flipped the page.
Then I saw the picture again, and again I looked at those buttons on the brown … no they are not buttons. Those are … it cant be … I stared in disbelief. Those are rivets holding the wooden clasps of a knife together… Chei! My God!!
Then I screamed in total shock and horror. One of these Fulani Herdsmen must have held this poor child to the road and driven a knife through her head with such force it pinned her to the road.
I started shaking with hate, anger; I stuttered. Whether it was for Jihad, for Islam, for grass, for cows, whoever did this was the very spawn of Satan himself, and whatever religion or faith he professed is spawn of the devil. Only a demon could do this to a child.
Now I know, I do not want to be in the same country with whichever demon did this. I do not want them grazing in my community. I do not want them selling their BLOOD BEEF to me.
This child, and this child alone, is the only reason I need that I do not want to be in Nigeria again. I must fight tooth and nail to avoid sharing the same country with such demonic, blood sucking vampires.
Rest in Peace child. Rest in Peace. Your death shall not be in vain.
Long live BIAFRA!!
