Let’s say….a 40-year-old Christian man from South South Nigeria goes to Sokoto and abducts a 13-year-old Muslim minor, marries her, and hides her in the Pere palace in a town in Bayelsa State.
The parents of the girl disapproves of their child being abducted and go to Yenagoa to report the issue to the police.

What are the likely things to happen in this highly skewed country :
1. Muslims would start killing and burning Christians properties in the north.
2. Some Niger Delta groups would start condemning the abduction acts, dissociate themselves from it and call for cooperation and collaboration with the federal government
3. Some Southern youths would start posting, condemning the acts, relate it with Tompolo and militancy and ask the federal government to raze down the entire villages.
4. Some Christian associations would start quoting the Bible and dissociating themselves from the act
5. Armies would be sent by the command of the C-in-C to occupy the entire creek doing house to house search while raping and looting would be the order of the day.
6. Madam Oby in association with some groups in South West would stage another drama ‘BringbackOurDaughter’
7. El Rufai would be promising that an evil act done to a Fulani would be repayable in due course
8. Lai Mohammed, Osinbajo and their Southern slaves would connect the whole episode with GEJ and PDP.
9. and… Godzgyft St Pius would be shouting for Resource Control / True Federalism or Regional government.
But the reverse is the case. The CinC, the Muslims, other Niger Delta groups, Madam empirical evidence, Lai Mohammed, etc are all mute pretending nothing is happening.
It is well with our pretenses!
