[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Eagle Island/Iloabuchi road in Rivers State, Southern Nigeria, is an important bypass initiated by former Governor of Rivers State, Sir Celestine Omehia to ease traffic congestion around the densely populated Mile 4, Agip Estate and Diobu areas of the city of Port Harcourt.
Unfortunately, after the ouster of Governor Omehia in 2007, five months into his administration, the road was left uncompleted for nearly 8 years by the next government until Gov. Nyesom Wike was elected in 2015.
In his first week as Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike (CON) gave a 3-week marching order for the completion of this important bypass.
What you see in this 1 minute video is the 3 weeks’ miracle of Gov. Wike; an incontrovertible evidence of his preparedness to turn the fortunes of Rivers State around. Feel free to like and share.
As it is now being said by the people of Rivers State, the evidence is clear that “RIVERS IS NEW!”
