[dropcap]A[/dropcap]fter his shocking division of the country into the 97 % and 5% sections, President Muhammadu Buhari has now taken his divisive governance style to his own party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Buhari told the BBC two days ago that those who were with him since 2003 when he began contesting for the presidency would benefit from him more than the rest.
Which means that even if you are in his party, the APC, but are a latter day convert of Buharism, you are disadvantaged in terms of benefiting from the government of Buhari.
Which further means that when Buhari has any benefit to bestow, the first question he asks is : IS THIS FELLOW FROM THE 97%?
The second question is : HOW LONG HAS THIS PERSON BEEN MY SUPPORTER? DID HE SUPPORT ME WHEN I STARTED THIS RACE IN 2003?
Once the person fails the Buhari test above, he can not benefit – no matter the billions of Naira and the support he gave during the campaigns.
Clearly, this bigotry is what has eliminated Amaechi and Ogbonnaya Onu from being secretary to the federal government. Both men are from the 5% section and both are latter day convert of Buharism.
I have not seen a divisive and sectional person like Buhari before!
A President of Nigeria is so open about, and proud of, his sectionalism and bigotry. It’s shocking.
