As a Christian, the closest analogy I can dig out from the Bible on present day Nigerian governance is that of King David and King Saul.
When David took over a basterdized Israel, he didn’t go about blaming Saul, he went straight to business of uprooting the pPhilistines. He even preferred Saul’s commanders to the rogues who fought with him when he was on the run. He knew his own fighters were mercenaries. He knew he needed to engage professional and well trained fighters to win the battles ahead.
David’s leadership senior, mirrors President Muhammadu Buhari’s of today. Buhari had worked with a coalition of rogues to make it into Aso Rock. Instead of Buhari to be courageous enough to lay his corrupt associates aside the begin work, he has decided to start singing to the world that these rogues who are his colleagues are holding him to ransom.
Buhari must purge his kitchen and set out to work.
