From all indications, the internal crisis rocking the All Progresives Congress (APC) is far from over as reports have it that the National Leader of the party, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has demanded a public apology from the Senate President, Bukola Saraki and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara for going against his wishes in the National Assembly elections.
According to Vanguard, Tinubu has demanded that the pair make a full-page public apology, using the national newspapers as a condition for sheathing his sword.
An insider in the APC told Vanguard: “You don’t joke with the man (Tinubu). He said they must make a public apology to him using the newspapers. A meeting that will involve all APC governors has been scheduled to hold either on Monday or Tuesday. Wait and see what will happen. They have to do it.”
