Beyonce’s sister, Solange Knowles tied the knot over the weekend.
Knowles’ publicist confirmed Sunday, November 16, 2014 that the 28-year-old singer and fashionista got married to 51-year-old video director, Alan Ferguson in a ceremony that she called a labour of love.
The bride and the groom wore ivory, which was the same colour worn by family of the couple including the bride’s mother, Tina, brother-in-law Jay Z and niece Blue Ivy. The bride’s superstar sister arrived the venue of the wedding covering her face with a coat. Blue Ivy is not pictured.
Knowles wore a ‘crazy chic pantsuit’ with her signature Afro hairstyle to the altar and the couple’s mode of transport were bicycles.
This is Knowles second marriage who has a 10-year-old son, Daniel, she and Ferguson have been in a long-term relationship.
Alan Ferguson is a celebrated video director who has produced videos for top pop, hip-hop, and R&B music stars like Beyonce, John Legend, Jay Z, Katy Perry, Fall Out Boy, Janelle Monae, Natasha Bedingfield, and Nelly Furtado.
The nuptials held in New Orleans.
