Top Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde has reacted to the recent trekking trend by some ‘loyal’ Nigerians since the conclusion of the general elections.
The trend was started by one Hasheem Suleiman who allegedly walked his way through Abuja from Lagos State to honour the president-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari for his victory.
A couple of other Nigerians have followed the trend by walking long distances from their various locations to honour some politicians.
One Oladele Nihi is currently on his way to the homestead of President Goodluck Jonathan in Otuoke, Bayelsa State accompanied by a lady named Gloria.
Ekeinde who appears quite pissed with the development took to her official Twitter page on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 to share her views.
She wrote, “Silly youths trekking their futures way. You don’t trek to bring awareness to your suffering plights but trek to celebrate politicians?Smh!”
