Following their impressive outing at the just concluded Chile 2015 under-17 world cup, the Golden Eaglets players who won the trophy are presently the darling of all.
Some of the players of the victorious team may be called upon by Nigeria’s U-23 national team coach, Samson Siasia.
It is being reported that Siasia is considering drafting the tournament’s top goal scorer, Victor Osimhen and the tournament’s best player, Kelechi Nwakali into the team for the African U-23 championship which will hold in Senegal later this month.
The African U-23 championship also serves as the qualification phase for the male football competition of the 2016 Olympic Games which will take place in Rio De Janiero, Brazil.
