Players of Sharks Football Club and Dolphin Football Club, both run by the Rivers State Government spent the night of Thursday, October 30, 2014, leading to the morning of Friday, October 31, 2014 in front of the Rivers State Government House to protest unpaid wages and salaries.
The Port Harcourt teams have reportedly made entreaties to the Rotimi Amaechi-led River state government to ensure their dues were paid to them to no avail.
