Beyonce is ending the year on a very happy note, with her record-breaking self-titled album debuting at number 1 and ranking 24 on the year’s list of best-sellers just three days after its release.

Queen B had every reason to shake it up as she took her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour to Washington D.C. on Wednesday December 18th 2013.

In black booties and a microphone in hand, she exuded confidence in experience as she stormed the stage.
The lights behind her made her cascading honey-tinted hair shimmer as her back-up dancers formed an interesting assembly all around her.
Her new album, Beyonce, has sold over 1 million copies on iTunes. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard chart and now ranks 24th on this year’s list of best-selling albums.

The 32-year-old mother of 1, released her ‘surprise’ 31-track album on December 13, featuring collaborations with Drake, Frank Ocean, Sia, Justin Timberlake, Pharrell, her husband Jay Z and their one-year-old daughter Blue Ivy.
After hundreds of shows since her tour’s start in April, Beyonce can still perform gravity-defying dance moves such as this.
