The Imo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has expelled Senator Ifeanyi Ararume and 19 other party members over allegations of anti partisanship during and after the polls.
This was confirmed through a statement issued and signed by Chief Nnamdi Anyaehie, the Imo State party Chairman.
The party disclosed that the party members were expelled after the matter was duly investigated and they were found guilty.
“After a full and exhaustive deliberation on the reports of the activities of the underlisted persons against the interest of our great party in the just-concluded general elections whose actions openly evidenced gross anti-party activities, the state executive committee at its meeting of Monday, May 24, 2015 accepts the report and recommendations and accordingly expels the under-listed from the party,” the statement read.
However, Senator Ararume has long gone to pay a courtesy visit to President-elect and stated that the PDP is dead.
