Abuja, Nigeria – Senate President Godswill Akpabio has called for maximum patience, understanding, and support for President Bola Tinubu, emphasizing the need to foster meaningful changes under the current administration.
Akpabio conveyed his message on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, to Nigerians, particularly the Muslim community, during Eid el-Kabir, a significant Islamic holiday.
In his message, Akpabio celebrated President Tinubu’s first Eid-el-Kabir as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
He also extended his congratulations to the Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, and the Chief of Staff to the President, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, on the occasion of the celebrations.
Akpabio urged fellow citizens to remember the essence of the season, which is characterized by submission to the will of Almighty God and the importance of sacrifice in daily life.
Furthermore, Akpabio commended the resilience and patriotism of Nigerians amidst the challenges facing the country, calling these struggles part of nation-building.
