The Ondo State Governor Olusegun Mimiko is set to commission various projects as part of the activities marking his seven years of administration in the state and also to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the creation of the state.
Akin Adaramola, Chairman of the Anniversary Planning Committee, made the disclosure yesterday at a press conference, held at the cocoa conference hall of the governor’s office in Akure, the state capital.
Adaramola, who is also the Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning in the state, flanked by his counterpart in the Ministry of information, Kayode Akinmade, at the briefing, said the anniversary would commence with a special broadcast programme to the people of the state on Wednesday by the governor while commissioning of projects will be followed on Tuesday 9th of February.
