Ladies complain, “You don’t call me”, “You don’t text”, etc; it’s because of what they know, that when you truly love someone you will always seek them. Love always wants to be close to the one they love.
It’s the same with God, you can’t be in love with Him and not seek to always be in His presence. There will always be a longing, a desire for fellowship with Him. No wonder David said in Psalm 42:1-2, “As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?”
God wants to be sought. You will never get the best of God until you seek Him. There must be a hunger and thirst for Him. He said in Jeremiah 29:13, “And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.” Thankfully, Jesus has brought us nigh and given us unrestrained access into the presence of the Father by His blood. Hallelujah!
