As earlier reported, the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) had sent a letter to both chambers of the House of Assembly suggesting possible names for nomination into principal offices.
The letters which were signed by the National Chairman of the APC, John Odigie-Oyegun , have been a cause of controversy, especially as both Senate President, Bukola Saraki and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara refused the letters from being read.
