The General Overseer of Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor F W Kumuyi has scheduled a visit to Benue state on Friday, September 26, 2014. Following the level of insecurity in Nigeria, the Overseer of the ministry in the state, Pastor Israel Akinsola has been prompted to make an assurance of good security at the venue of the programme.
Therefore, Akinsola stated that security measures have been adequately planned in order to achieve a peaceful programme which he promised would be an awesome experience as there would be a harvest of miracles over the weekend for many attendees including the handicapped.
Addressing newsmen yesterday at the state headquarters of the Church in Makurdi, the State Overseer disclosed that necessary security arrangements have already been put in place to ensure perfect security of all participants.
The state Overseer said that following the willingness of the state government to end the current problem between Fulani herdsmen and Benue farmers, the General Overseer thought it wise to to host the programme for general prayers to achieve permanent solution for continuous peaceful co-existence in the state.
Meanwhile, Akinsola extended an invitation to all the residents of the state urging them to maximize the opportunity and achieve greater heights in both the physical and spiritual lives.
Reacting on the fear people might have over contacting the Ebola Virus, he assured the prospective attendees that plans have been put in place to ensure the revival venue is appropriately fumigated.
He also added that provision have been made to screen everyone who will attend the programme.
Furthermore, he disclosed that there is and adequate provision of toilet facilities in the camp ground together with a special medical unit who will be readily available to handle medical cases that might occur during the programme.
