Scores of cow were discovered dead after drinking water reportedly poisoned by Boko Haram terrorists in a river located Kangallam Village, Borno State.
A source, Salisu Muhammad Lokoja, shared the video on Facebook, with a caption, “This is a video of cows after drinking poisoned water which Boko Haram put inside a river at a point between Borno and Chad.”
The video showed a bunch of dead cattle in the said river believed to have died after drinking from the river.
It would be recalled that the Nigerian Army had issued a statement on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 warning those around Maiduguri, Borno State capital to stay away from the river because the terrorists had poisoned it.
