The president of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta on Saturday, April 4, 2015 declared three days of national mourning following the massacre of about 150 students by the Somali Al-Qaeda-linked Al-Shabab gunmen.
“I declare three days of mourning during which our flags will fly at half mast,” Kenyatta said in a televised national address from the capital Nairobi.
He condemned the “barbaric slaughter” in his first address since the end of the attack on Thursday, April 2, 2015.
