A bizarre hotel building has been erected in the shape that looks so much like a couple having sex.
The structure is a temporary installation which doubles as a hotel capsule for VIPs at the annual Ruhrtriennale Festival in Bochum, Germany, according to Metro UK.
The creative firm who constructed the rare building, Atelier Van Lieshout, named it Domestikator.
According to them , they wanted to prove that humanity still has greater power over the natural world, and also highlight our disrupted relationship with nature.
One of the workers, Rookje Meijerink, disclosed that while some persons find the structure quite provocative, others people of Bochum find it absolutely funny.
She said: “The artwork pays tribute to the ingenuity, the sophistication and the capacities of humankind, to the power of organisation, and to the use of this power to dominate, domesticate the natural environment.
“The response by both professionals, press and the general public has been very positive, the installation has featured in a large number of renowned Dutch and German newspapers, magazines and television stations, and has gathered a lot of attention online.”
