Bukola Saraki, the president of the Nigerian Senate, has stated that it is unacceptable for airline operators in the country to neglect the safety of their passengers and conditions of their aircraft.
In a tweet on his personal @BukolaSaraki handle, Saraki stated that the Senate would look into the issue — calling it, unacceptable.
“Thank the Almighty for your safe landing,” Dr. Saraki wrote on Wednesday, February 7, 2018.
“The safety of passengers and conditions of aircrafts must be the primary concern of all airlines that are operating in Nigeria.
“An airline door falling off is unacceptable. We will take this up at the Senate. It must not happen again.”

Saraki was responding to a post by a Twitter user, Ola Brown(Orekunrin), @NaijaFlyingDr, which has since gone viral, that alleges that she flew Dana Air, and the aircraft door was unstable throughout the flight.
“Flew Dana. Exit door was unstable throughout the flight. As we touched down it fell off. Scary stuff,” the Twitter user said.
