Former Inter Milan forward Samuel Eto’o, has signed for Everton on a free transfer in the summer after leaving Chelsea at the end of last season But he is allowed to make his return to Italy during the January transfer window after four goals in 20 games in all competitions for Roberto Martinez’s side.
The 33-year old striker confirmed his move via a tweet on Monday, January 27, 2015.

Sampdoria general secretary Massimo Ienca also confirmed his signing from Everton on a contract until 2018 with a tweet:

During his career, Eto’o had also played for Real Madrid, Mallorca, Barcelona and Anzhi Makhachkala, winning the Champions League twice during his time at the Camp Nou and once at Inter Milan.
