NAN – Vice President Namadi Sambo on Monday arrived Kano for a three-day official visit to the state.
Alhaji Musa Danbirni, the Publicity Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Kano.
Dambirni said that Sambo was expected to inaugurate projects at the old and new sites of Bayero University Kano (BUK).
He said the vice president would also inaugurate projects at the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital (AKTH) as well as inspect the on-going over head bridge being constructed along Zaria road.
“The Vice President is expected to meet with PDP supporters and stakeholders of the party secretariat in the state during the visit.”
NAN reports that security had been beefed up in Kano as roads leading to various places slated for inauguration had been closed.
