Students of the Univeristy of Uyo have held a procession in honour of slain Iniubong Umoren, who was lured and killed after she tweeted in search of a job oppurtunity.

She was a graduate of the University of Uyo awaiting her National Youth Service call-up letter before she was brutally murdered.
Students of her alma mater and residents of Uyo, Akwa Ibom states capital, on Tuesday, May 5, 2021 joined the procession in her honour.

The Nigerian Police Force on May 2 exhumed her corpse from a shallow grave four days after she went missing.
20-year-old Uduak Friday Akpan has been arrested for her murder. The suspect confessed to luring the deceased from Twitter, raping her and killing her.

The police confirmed she was sexually molested and brutally beaten before she was murdered.
Akpan disclosed that he buried her remains in a shallow grave with the help of his father.
The House of Representatives have mandated the Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba to champion the investigation and presecution of the killers of late Iniubong Umoren.
