Some sad photos have emerged from the scene of the unfortunate incdent that happened around 6:45am.
All the seven occupants of the Dornier 228 aircraft, including the pilot, co-pilot, two engineers and three passengers, have been confirmed dead by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA).
The helicopter was said to be on a routine training flight and was heading to Abuja from the Nigerian Airforce base in Kaduna State.
