It was a sad loss for Nasarawa State University as a final year student in the Department of Biology Education died while trying to rescue another man from getting electrocuted.
Haruna Zaidu died of electrocution when he ran to save a mobile phone operator, Junaudu Shaibu as he was being electrocuted by a high tension wire at the GSM market in Keffi, the state capital on Monday, August 17.
Unfortunately, Zaidu was electrocuted in the process.
He has since been buried according to Islamic rites.
Friends and family of Zaidu took to social media to mourn his death.
