The Office of The News Agency Of Nigeria was attacked by armed robbers over the weekend.
According to The Punch, several valuables such as HP laptop, charger, two modems, flash drive, USB cord, a Nokia handset, a digital camera, a mini audio recorder and some cash were stolen.
The Zonal Manager, Mr. Ephraims Sheyin, described it as “very shocking.” He said “It is very devastating; the laptop contains flash drive, camera and the cord and lots of other valuable information and I am honestly at a loss,”
A Divisional Police Officer in Jos, Mr. Adisa Momoh, confirmed the incident and said two of the agency’s security men had been arrested. He said that two of the security men attached to NAN office in Jos has been arrested and that investigations are on-going to make sure that the culprits are brought to book
