Some marriage proposals are not just sweet moments but memories which linger in a lifetime.
The recent marriage proposal in Port Harcourt probably tops the theatrical record in Nigeria. Staged by a man, simply known as Austin, who set out to propose to his girlfriend in a dramatic fashion.
Austin actually planned a stop and check scene with the police before setting off with girlfriend for a restaurant. During the planned stop-and-check, the girl was really upset about the police ”harassment” without knowing what her man had in stock for her.
It was in that process that Austin called her attention to her pictures being displayed on a bill board. Just immediately, family and friends emerged and a table was set outside the restaurant.
Austin knelt down and popped the “Will You Marry Me’ question while an orchestra man played. The photos of this memorable love event are showing in the slideshow above.
