The Meeting, a 2013 Nollywood production by celebrated actress Rita Dominic has reportedly broken industry records grossing over N25 million ($150,000) at the box office.
According to entertainment blog, 360nobs.com, the movie which stars a mix of emerging stars and Nollywood veterans received 6 nominations at the last Africa Movies Academy Awards (AMAA).
The romantic comedy was released on the first day of 2014 and has reportedly sold over 50,000 copies in the first two weeks of its release.
The film stars Rita Dominic, Tinsel star, Linda Ejiofor, Femi Jacobs, Jide Kosoko with appearances by Kate Henshaw, Nse Ikpe Etim, Basorge Tariah Jnr and Chinedu Ikediezie.
