Former Nigerian International goalkeeper, Wilfred Agbonavbare has passed away. He died on Monday, January 25, 2015 after a battle with cancer.
The former Rayo Vallecano goalkeeper had been receiving treatment at a Spanish hospital was said to have died..
Agbonavbare who lost his wife three years ago to breast cancer started his football career with New Nigeria Bank in 1983 before moving to BBC Lions and Spain’s Rayo Vallecano 1990.
